Breaths and mouth noise

The sharp inhale before every sentence is the thing headphone listeners tire of first. Cutting it out shortens the pause and makes the edit sound rushed. Quietening it, and keeping the pause, is the fix.

The room

Fridge hum, fan wash, the hard walls of a spare bedroom. A listener cannot name it, but they hear that you are not in a studio. Noise removal that leaves the voice untouched closes most of that gap.

Loudness jumps

Deliver at spec

Apple says one number, Spotify says another, and my episodes are all over the place.

If you read ads

Host-read ads pay the bills, and a dropped word means a re-record.

Paste the sponsor's script, upload the read, and every word comes back highlighted green or red, so a dropped or swapped word is caught before the sponsor's producer catches it. What podcasters ask first.

Does it shorten my episode when it removes breaths?

No. A breath is quietened in place and the pause keeps its exact length, filled with your own room tone, so the rhythm of the conversation stays yours. Every breath is listed so you can keep any one of them with a click.

What about two or three people talking?

Auto Clean Up works on a single mixed file or on each person's track separately. For the cleanest result, run each host's track through it and then mix as usual; breath quietening and noise removal both work best with one voice per file.

Which loudness should a podcast be delivered at?

Most podcast platforms and Apple Podcasts sit at -16 LUFS integrated with a true peak no higher than -1 dBTP. Spotify and YouTube normalise to -14 LUFS. Loudness Normalizer has a preset for each and measures the finished file so you know it landed.

Is there a limit on episode length or minutes per month?

No per-minute credits and no monthly cap. Unlimited means unlimited for a working podcaster; very heavy industrial use may reach a generous fair-use ceiling, which is spelled out in the terms.

What happens to my audio?
