Privacy Policy

The short version

Your audio is processed and deleted. It is never used to train AI, never sold, and never shared beyond what's needed to run the tool you asked for. We collect the minimum we need to run your account, and we don't run third-party advertising trackers. Full detail at voiceeditsuite.com/your-audio.

What we collect

Account details: your email, name, password (stored as a secure hash we can't read), and any optional profile info you choose to add, like your genres or gear.

Usage: which tools you run and when, and the duration of audio processed. We use this to run fair-use limits, improve the tools, and keep the service healthy.

Payments: handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers; we only see your subscription status.

Messages: feedback you send through the site and emails you send us.

What happens to your audio

When you run a tool, your file is uploaded, processed, delivered back to you, and deleted from our servers. We don't keep a library of your recordings.

To avoid charging our transcription costs twice for the same file, a transcript may be cached for up to 30 days, keyed to a mathematical fingerprint of the file rather than your name. It's deleted automatically after that.

The mic check on our home page runs entirely inside your browser: that audio never leaves your device at all.

None of your audio, transcripts, or results are used to train AI models. Ours or anyone else's.

Who helps us run the service

Like every online service, we rely on a small set of specialist providers behind the scenes for things like payment processing, audio analysis, email delivery, and hosting. Each one receives only the minimum needed to do its single job, is bound by confidentiality, and is used in configurations that do not retain your content or use it to train anything. Your card details go only to our payment processor and never touch our servers.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's storage for the essentials: keeping you logged in and remembering your preferences (like your saved mic setup). No third-party advertising trackers, no selling your browsing behaviour.

Email

We send account emails (like password resets) and occasional product updates. Every product update has a one-click unsubscribe, and unsubscribing never affects essential account emails. We measure delivery and opens on our announcements so we know they arrived.

How long we keep things

Account data lives for as long as your account does. Usage records are kept to run the service honestly (billing, fair use, support). Want everything gone? Ask through the contact page and we'll delete your account and its data.

Your rights

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. One message through the contact page does it. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law, and we honour those.

Children

VoiceEditSuite is for working professionals and isn't directed at children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll post it here and email account holders. The date at the top always tells you when it last changed.
