Terms of Service

Last updated July 30, 2026. Written in plain English on purpose.

1. Who we are

VoiceEditSuite (voiceeditsuite.com) is a subscription toolkit for working voice actors: audio cleanup, noise removal, audiobook prep, script checking, performance feedback, quoting tools, and more. These terms are an agreement between you and VoiceEditSuite. Questions any time through our contact page.

2. Your account

You need an account for the subscription tools. Keep your password private, give us accurate details, and keep your account to yourself: one account is for one person. You're responsible for what happens under your login.

3. Subscription and billing

The subscription is billed through Stripe at the price shown on our pricing page when you sign up, either monthly or annually. Your subscription renews automatically until you cancel.

Our price promise: the rate you sign up at does not increase for as long as your subscription stays active. If you cancel and later re-join, you pay whatever the current rate is then.

You can cancel any time with one click from your dashboard. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for. We don't refund partial billing periods, except where the law requires us to.

4. Fair use

"Unlimited" means unlimited for a working voice actor, not for industrial-scale processing. Very heavy use of the transcription-based tools may reach a generous rolling monthly ceiling. If you reach it, those tools pause for your account until older sessions age out of the rolling 30-day window, which happens automatically day by day. Every other tool keeps working as normal.

5. Your audio and your content

Your recordings are yours. The files you upload and the files our tools give back belong to you, full stop. You give us permission to process your audio only as needed to run the tool you asked for.

Your audio is processed and then deleted, and it is never used to train AI models. The full plain-English detail lives at voiceeditsuite.com/your-audio, and that promise is part of these terms.

Only upload audio you have the right to use. If a client script or recording isn't yours to process, don't run it through the tools.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use the tools for anything unlawful, don't try to break, overload, reverse-engineer, or scrape the service, and don't resell access. We can suspend accounts that abuse the service or other people.

7. Free tools

Some tools are free to use without an account. They come with the same care and the same privacy promise, provided as-is.

8. What our results mean

Our checks and reports (for example ACX compliance measurements) are honest technical measurements against published specifications. They are not a guarantee that any third party, including Audible/ACX or your client, will accept your work. The Rate Calculator gives industry-informed guidance, not financial or legal advice.

9. Availability and changes

We ship improvements constantly, and every tool we add is included in your subscription at no extra cost. We may change or retire features over time, and while we work hard to keep the service up, we can't promise it will never have an outage.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we're not liable for indirect losses like lost profits or lost bookings. Nothing in these terms removes rights that consumer law gives you that cannot be excluded.

11. Ending things

You can cancel your subscription any time, and you can ask us to delete your account entirely through the contact page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll post the update here and email account holders. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
